I watched this video while scrolling on TikTok the other day. It bothered me a lot.
I do know this about men—we will put up with being unhappy because of either a sense of responsibility as a provider, fear of losing our kids, or fear of ending up alone.
I’ve been married twice and have been on both sides: I’ve been blissfully happy and crushingly miserable.
The fact is that women are the ones who initiate divorce proceedings in about 80% of cases.
What is bothersome to me is that this lady is well aware that her man is not happy and has done nothing. If the tables were turned, she probably would have already filed for divorce.
In my opinion, in a working relationship, both parties should be well aware (and concerned) about how the other person feels about the relationship.
Knowing that your partner is unhappy and not being concerned about it is the real issue. Don’t be this lady.
