High Blood Pressure Gone after Chiropractic Adjustment
Did you know that in 2007 a medical study found that one simple chiropractic adjustment was enough to lower high blood pressure to normal levels?
It’s true, a study conducted by physicians at the University of Chicago Medical Center examined 50 people who had been suffering with high blood pressure and were also found to have a misaligned Atlas vertebra (the top bone of the spine located high in the neck).
After a one-time chiropractic adjustment that repositioned the misaligned Atlas vertebra, all 50 patients experienced a decrease in blood pressure. Researchers compared the drop in blood pressure to the equivalent of taking two blood pressure drugs at the same time.
Full results of the study were published in the March 2, 2007 online issue of the Journal of Human Hypertension.
