Dan vs. The cryotherapy "sauna"

Some time ago a friend and I decided to try out cryotherapy. Went to a local cryotherapy spa and signed up to try it out. You have to undress and only wear underwear, socks and mittens. That’s to make sure your appendages don’t freeze and break off. When I heard that, I wished thatI had worn some thicker, warmer underwear. You know, for extra protection “down there”.
Anyway, you go into the chamber for 1-3 minutes (we chose 3) and at first, you really can’t feel the cold, or maybe it takes a bit for the cold to hit. By the time the 3 minutes were up, I was quite ready to get out of there.
Afterwards I got an incredible rush of endorphins and I felt like I could run for miles. I feel like I would definitely do this again. Also, I’m glad that my underpants held up to the cold.
